16th September A Welcome to the New Season
A welcome to returning and new members.
A chance for members to show a few of their photos of what they did over the summer. Also, we will view the images submitted for our summer challenge on the theme of ‘Heads or Tails’.
7th October
Scott Near – “Wedding Photography”
Scott is an award- winning master wedding photographer. He will describe the process from end to end covering image planning, workflow etc.

Dylan Nardini – Landscape Photography
Dylan is a Scottish-based, multi-award winning landscape photographer. Details of his work can be found at https://www.dylannardini.co.uk/.
NOTE: This is a joint meeting with Gala Camera Club and will be hosted by them at the Langlee Centre in Galashiels.

David Sadler – “And now for something completely different”
David describes his photography as favouring more unusual & wacky subjects!
This will be a projected Zoom talk in the Drill Hall.
2nd December
Brian Henry – Night Photography
This is a practical evening. After a short presentation by Brian on photographing Peebles at night we will head out and put it into practice. Let’s hope for a dry evening!
16th December
Christmas Social Night
An opportunity for members to view the results of the practical session on night photography as well as enjoying a pre-Christmas get together.

Kevin Lomax – “Botswana Photographic Safari”
Kevin presents images from a specialist photographic safari to the Okovango Delta, the Savuti Marsh area and Chobe River in Botswana.

Charles Everitt – “Moving On”
Charles will talk about his work and a move into a more creative and abstract style of photography with some audiovisual content.
18th February
Competition 2 – Open Subject
Judge – Ford Renton
3rd March – “You are the Judge”
A fun evening where each member will be offered the opportunity to sympathetically critique a number of random images in the same way that we are judged on our competition entries.
17th March
Muriel Binnie – Abstract Landscapes
Muriel is an abstract landscape photographer using both Intentional Camera Movement & multiple exposures to create her images.

Kathy Henry – “Tresco Gardens, the Isles of Scilly” and Brian Henry – “Photographing Miniatures”
In a double bill of talks, Kathy will present her images from visits to the gardens and Brian will talk on the trials and tribulations developing this mode of photography.

A Visit to Edinburgh Botanics
A chance for members to meet for a photo shoot at The Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh. Time TBC.

Our AGM and annual prize giving. There will also be an opportunity for some members to showcase some of their photography.
