  "One of the Little Five"

                 by Brian Henry

The story behind the photo.

When people go on safari they like to see the big five - lion, leopard, elephant etc.  But many do not realise there is also a little five, small beasts that have in their name a name from the big five - rhinoceros beetle is one.  The smallest is the antlion; living below a conical hole it waits until an ant falls down the slope and cannot climb out. It then grabs the ant with its large pincers and has its next meal.
